Glass Workshop – Colourful Fused Glass Sail Boat

Join glass artist Eilidh Mackenzie for a fun and informative 3hr workshop making multi coloured, fused glass sail-boats.

Workshops will run from

10.00am – 1.00pm and 1.30pm – 4.30pm

If you have never worked with glass before this is your chance for some hands-on experience.

Participants will be introduced to the skills of glass cutting and assembling a fused glass boat ready for firing. The finished boats will then be taken to Eilidh’s studio and fired in her kiln. Participants can collect their fused boats from the Linthouse building the following Saturday, or if you wish, your boat can be posted to you for a fee of £6.00 to cover post and packaging. This can be discussed on the day.

Classes are limited to 10 participants with a minimum age of 16. No prior experience required.

Classes are costed at £60.00 person.

All materials and equipment are provided.
