Talk & film show of Caledonian MacBrayne in the 1970s and the P.S. Waverley by the renowned Iain Quinn.
Thursday 19th October, doors open at 19:00, talk begins at 19:30 until 21:15.
Amongst the wonderful scenes and memories you will see the King George v to Iona, Queen Mary on her cruises on the Clyde The Ferries of the early life of Caledonian MacBrayne including the 1957 Glen Sannox and the lovely Maid of Cumbrae. Sailing round Bute on Waverley in 1973 & see the Waverley in 1975 in her first season in Preservation, now approaching her 50th year in operation with Waverley Steam Navigation Co
